A computer fair is an exhibition of computers where computers are not only displayed but also sold. In such computer fairs, people get some commission or special offers. To make it more popular, computer fairs are often held in important places of the country.
Last year, such a fair was held in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka city. It was Friday. It was a holiday. I woke up early in the morning. I took a quick bath and had breakfast. My mother asked me why I was in such a hurry? I told her to get ready quickly. She wanted to know where we were going.
This time I could not tell her my purpose. I told her that we were going to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar to see the computer fair. We started our journey from our house towards the fair at around 8 am. We decided not to take any vehicle but to walk. She agreed. We kept walking along Mirpur Road. By then buses, rickshaws and pushcarts had started plying.
However, we reached the fair at around 10 am while talking to each other very happily. The fair area was really big. Numerous shops and stalls filled with computers have been set up. Some Japanese, Korean, Chinese and some foreign countries have decorated the fair with their respective computers and related items. We roamed around the fair for about four hours. We experienced a lot. We bought a complete computer and returned home by 4.30 pm in an autorickshaw.
